The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) is committed to creating a more equitable future in the AV industry through a variety of DEI initiatives. That’s why they invited select members to record a video about why they are allies for respecting the pronouns of every individual. Their targeted, personalized outreach yielded incredible engagement, with 100% of those invited to share their perspective recording a video. The videos were then compiled into a montage that was viewed more than 1,100 times.
Content co-creators were able to record their video stories on their own time, from their own homes, and using their own personal computers.
A simple link was emailed to select members, inviting them to participate and offering efficient one-to-many coaching through the recording process.
Instead of speaking out about this topic as a brand, AVIXA lifted up the voices of their members, creating authentic, year-round engagement.
