The Challenge
Before Gather Voices, ASAE's video strategy hit a ceiling:
- Video production was limited to large, costly projects tied to major events. There was no infrastructure to collect content consistently or between those moments, leaving a massive content gap for the rest of the year.
- ASAE had no scalable way to amplify the voices of Black, Hispanic/Latinx, AAPI, and LGBTQ+ members, or to surface authentic peer stories that could support certification recruitment and DEIA programming.
- Multiple business units needed video content independently, but a fragmented, manual process made coordination difficult and resource-intensive.
- Member and staff bandwidth was limited. Traditional production processes created friction and made high-volume, authentic content collection nearly impossible to sustain.
The Gather Voices Solution
Gather Voices gave ASAE a centralized, zero-overhead video pipeline solution that could be used across every program and event:
- Built an organization-wide video pipeline collecting 1,600+ stories from members and staff over five years, using both remote video collection tools and on-site capture at events
- Captured 400 videos at ASAE Annual and 315 videos at MM&C+T over four years, turning attendee reflections, sponsor stories, and award-winner features into immediate marketing assets.
- Gathered 83 stories at CEO Conclave 2025, capturing executive-level perspectives and peer insights from one of the association world's most senior gatherings without a film or production crew.
- Collected 27 CAE testimonial videos from current certificate holders, giving prospective members authentic peer proof to drive certification enrollment
- Gathered 37 video insights from members completing the DEIA micro-credential program, turning participation into visible, community-building content
- Launched dedicated heritage month campaigns collecting 26 stories for Black History Month and 27 for Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, with published member galleries driving ongoing community visibility
- Enabled event promotion through speaker, staff, and member videos ahead of programming, creating authentic content that drives attendance and engagement across channels
The Strategic Impact

- Dedicated content pipelines now support CAE certification recruitment, DEIA programming, heritage month initiatives, CEO-level storytelling, and event promotion, all without relying on a dedicated agency or film crew.
ASAE no longer relies on expensive, event-tied productions to tell its story. Member, speaker, sponsor, and staff voices now show up consistently across every major program, keeping ASAE's 47,000-member community visible, connected, and engaged year-round.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
